[Music] Okmalumkoolkat – eThekwini Intro

Okmalumkoolkat opens the 2026 project "iTheku eThekwini" album with the track eThekwini Intro, setting the tone as the first of eleven pieces. This South African artist frames the album with a clear beginning, inviting listeners into the sonic landscape that follows across the project’s entirety.

The sequencing of eThekwini Intro as the initial track demonstrates a project-first writing approach, emphasizing cohesion and flow from the outset. Positioned deliberately as track one, it anchors the project structurally, making the listening experience more intentional and connected.

Released in 2026, "iTheku eThekwini" album presents eleven tracks in total, with this introduction serving as the gateway. The choice to craft a specific intro highlights the artist’s attention to how the album unfolds as a whole rather than focusing solely on singles or isolated moments.
