[Music] Sminofu – Umuntu Ongenacala

Sminofu, a South African talent, contributes to his expansive project with the track Umuntu Ongenacala, placed strategically as the sixth entry on the 17-track iTekisi. This positioning within the project hints at a deliberate flow, where each piece builds on the last to create a cohesive musical narrative.

iTekisi unfolds across 17 tracks, inviting listeners into a layered auditory experience. As a project-first creation, it places emphasis on the collective journey rather than isolated singles, allowing Sminofu to explore themes and sounds in depth. Umuntu Ongenacala stands out within this framework, marking a midpoint that balances the album’s progression.

Released in 2026, this track and its parent project underscore the artist’s commitment to a holistic approach in music-making. The South African context frames the work culturally, while the methodology behind iTekisi reflects an intentional, project-driven ethos that shapes every element of the listening experience.
